Mount Aspiring and glaciers

An amazing alpine flight with a high altitude landing that explores Mount Aspiring (Tititea), the glaciers and the National Park.

Fly over pristine west coast rain forest, through deep river valleys that are remnants of the last glacial period over 25000 years ago, to make a high altitude landing amongst the impressive mountain grandeur near Mt. Aspiring. We then fly on to see close up, cascading cliffs of compressed blue ice, deep crevasses, steep, short hanging glaciers plus long winding glaciers up to 10 km long, waterfalls, sheer rock faces, and native forest. Fly onwards for a Glacier landing or return to Haast via the coastline

Greenstone and gorge river flight

View the Cascade Plateau greenstone boulders, then continue south to Gorge River to NZ’s remotest family and Art Gallery. Return via the rugged West Coast past seal colony’s and Amazing waterfalls.

South Westland and its surrounds, are a hunters paradise, and being one of a very small number of operators with concessions to land in the National Park and conservation area, Greenstone Helicopters can take you to the animals. Clients travel from all over NZ and the world, to hunt red deer, thar and chamois in our ‘back yard’. We provide the safe, efficient access hunters want, and also a wealth of local hunting knowledge you will only get from our experienced pilots.

From our bases in Haast and Neil’s Beach we provide efficient, personalised, fly fishing charters to many remote rivers and streams.
